A new survey by Swedish royalty-free music provider Epidemic Sound found that 76.5% of US-based content creators saw a significant increase in their earnings in the past year, with most citing growth in monetization options as the reason. TikTok was reported as the most profitable platform followed by YouTube. The report also found that 77% of creators anticipate a continued revenue increase. Despite this, most creators plan to cut expenses, particularly those related to talent, locations, and props. The study also highlighted artificial intelligence (AI) usage among creators. While 94% of surveyed creators used AI, 78% were concerned that content made with AI may lack authenticity and originality.
