Artifact News App’s AI Now Rewrites Clickbait Headlines

Date:

Artifact, an app created by Kevin Systrom and Mike Krieger, has launched a new feature that uses artificial intelligence (AI) to rewrite clickbait headlines. In the past, if a title was marked as clickbait, Artifact would vet the article manually to confirm its status. Now, the app calls on a GPT-4 model of AI to rewrite headlines that users have marked as clickbait. If Artifact’s team marks an article as clickbait, the app will automatically rewrite the headline for all users. The company is also working on technology that will allow it to detect clickbait without relying on manual reporting, making the process even smoother.
