Danish Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen made a recent speech in Parliament which, in part, was written by artificial intelligence (AI) language model, ChatGPT. During her speech, Frederiksen emphasized both the exciting and frightening aspects of AI technology. The ChatGPT language model was responsible for drafting the speech’s dynamic portion that discussed Denmark’s future and strategies to combat climate change. This revelation by Frederiksen occurred while the EU is working on The AI Act, its first law on AI, which outlines the regulation of AI applications across three risk categories.
ChatGPT is an AI-based language generator developed by OpenAI. It utilizes deep neural networks to generate human-like responses to text prompts. The technology has the capacity to communicate in a variety of human-like forms such as writing, conversation, and image/video descriptions. ChatGPT is among the innovative AI tools being developed to enhance the effectiveness of today’s communications and sustainable technologies.
