StoryKit Launches AI Tool for Enterprise Customers to Create Text-to-Video Content

Date:

Swedish software company, Storykit, has unveiled a new in-browser, text-to-video AI generation feature that it believes will streamline the video creation process for marketers and businesses. Its AI Script Creator enables users to paste in text, including press releases, product descriptions, blog archives and notes, and have it converted into an SEO-optimised video that is suitable for multiple platforms. On its website, Storykit said the tool’s AI pairs text with suitable images to ensure brand identity is preserved. The company added that it had drop-down menus indicating appropriate video categories for users. Storykit CEO and founder Peder Bonnier spoke of the tool being a “game changer” and that anyone can do “video creation” using it.

Founded in 2018, Storykit has more than 1,000 customers and seeks to resolve the challenge of creating videos for multiple social media platforms, with each seeking different aspect ratios and specifications. It does not list prices but offers a free trial for its software.

Fredrik Strömberg, Storykit’s CPO and founder, said the text-to-video tool was aimed at creating an accessible video creation process for anyone outside the specialised roles of video creators. The AI tool allows enterprises to translate their video and scripts into multiple languages, he said. VentureBeat tested the software and found it to be a competent provider of video scripts from drafts such as those used in online news releases.
