Microsoft AI Powered Copilot with New Plugins

Date:

Microsoft is taking a bold step to make its AI tools more accessible by introducing support for plug-ins in its AI-powered Copilot. This move is seen as a great way to differentiate Microsoft from its rivals as Google only has Duet AI tools focused on productivity, but not widely available and without plug-ins.

This isn’t the only app that Microsoft is offering plug-ins, earlier this month, they announced that the Bing AI chat, which could be used to book restaurant reservations through OpenTable, is getting plug-ins. Moreover, Microsoft and OpenAI are working together to create an ‘open standard for plug-ins’ that will work across OpenAI’s ChatGPT and Microsoft Copilot services.

Microsoft is a leading technology and cloud computing company. Founded in 1975 by Bill Gates and Paul Allen, the company is one of the most valuable companies in the world and the largest software maker. Microsoft has a diversified portfolio of products and services, ranging from cloud and AI to energy and education.

The article mentioned Mr Jha who is the Corporate Vice President of Office 365 Ecosystem at Microsoft. Jha is known for his expertise in the field of artificial intelligence and is in charge of leading Microsoft’s efforts to simplify the development of AI-powered tools. With his efforts, Microsoft’s AI-powered Copilot is now equipped with plug-ins, which will make it easier to use the AI tools for a wide range of audiences.
