ChatGPT AI for Your iPhone Now

Date:

Now available for iOS users, Your iPhone Now Has ChatGPT AI, a chatbot from OpenAI. The app supports voice input and syncs your history across devices and is available in US and will soon expand to other countries. As the app runs on both iPhones and iPads, Android users will have their own version “soon”, as per OpenAI.

ChatGPT is the result of OpenAI’s update to its large language model GPT-4 which was released in March. GPT-4 was said to have less flaws, higher nuance and more capacity to tackle complex tasks than its previous versions. It utilizes large datasets to respond to user questions and perform tasks like passing bar exams. Plus, if users want to take their experience to the next level, they can opt for a $20/month ChatGPT Plus subscription.

Other major companies have followed OpenAI’s footsteps in the AI chatbot realm. Microsoft launched Bing AI Search which uses ChatGPT, and has now launched additional support for Android and iOS, while Google also released its own version, AI Bard. In addition, Chinese giant Alibaba announced its own ChatGPT rival with support for both Chinese and English. Finally, to top it off Elon Musk, the CEO of Tesla and Twitter, has gone ahead and created X.AI, an artificial intelligence company.

CNET has done its own research to measure the performance of ChatGPT, Bing and Google Bard to determine which chatbot is the best to use. All the available application are being used to figure out the same, and users can make their choice depending on their requirements. All these steps taken so far in the AI chatbot realm has created more options for users to get their queries answered.
