ThoughtSpot, the business intelligence specialist, is simplifying analytics for the enterprise with AI. Hosting its ‘Beyond 2023’ customer conference, the company announced new product capabilities that leverage AI to give users real-time insights. Sage, an LLM-driven search experience, was unveiled at the event. It provides users with a chat experience that enables them to query data for text or visual insights. And, with the help of AI, it can offer results in seconds.
The company also debuted a mobile-first analytics feature called ThoughtSpot Monitor for Mobile. This grants users the ability to subscribe to key performance indicators and get notified in real-time with an explanation of why metrics are changing. Other integrations were announced at the conference, including ThoughtSpot Analytics for Excel, Google Sheets, Slides and Slack. These integrations make it easier to access insights wherever users work.
The conference also mentioned Liveboards, ThoughtSpot’s version of a dashboard. These are now more collaborative with the addition of note tiles, cross filters and parameters. An in-app commenting system was also added to promote feedback, collaboration and brainstorming. Last, but certainly not least, the company revealed a new data modelling studio, providing a drag-and-drop and guided UI interface to simplify data modelling.
