Microsoft Offers Free Access to GPT-4 After Removing Bing Wait List

Date:

Microsoft (NASDAQ: MSFT) recently announced that it is making its Bing chatbot and Edge web browser AI-powered with a variety of new features. Most interestingly, Bing users have now gotten full access to GPT-4 – the same engine that powers ChatGPT’s “Plus” subscription service. Before this, there was a “limited preview” of the GPT-4 version of the Bing app which has now been opened to everyone through the Bing app, web access and the Edge browser.

This move from Microsoft is certainly cost-effective for customers as it eliminates the need for them to pay for ChatGPT for access to the GPT-4 algorithm. Additionally, Microsoft announced other AI-related features like the AI Assist is now available for Edge users, which assists users in finding what they are looking for quickly and accurately.
