World of Vegan’s team of chefs and taste testers recently tested over 100 vegan recipes generated by OpenAI’s ChatGPT – an advanced large-language model. Unfortunately, most of the recipes turned out to be a hilariously pitiful mess. Out of the dozens of recipes churned out, only one dish, cauliflower tacos, was deemed a success. The AI-generated recipes often contained clashing ingredients or resulted in dishes that were either messy or had a terrible taste. Although AI is revolutionizing many industries, it seems to be struggling with creating beginner-level dishes. Thus, it is crucial to use human-generated and tested recipes instead of completely relying on AI.
