Morabadi's Birsa Munda Stadium was their start and end point, with Central Coalfields Ltd arranging it and rewards of Rs.29.7 lakhs were given to the winners. The entire event was coordinated by Abhay Kumar, a Ranchi Sub Divisional Magistrate. He encouraged and promoted sports in the local area, making this marathon possible.
