Zoho Launches New Web Browser Ulaa and Continues ChatGPT Integration

Date:

Zoho Corporation, a well-established business to consumer (B2C) organization has recently launched Ulaa, a privacy-centric web browser. In addition, the corporation also announced their execution and plans going forward with their Generative AI engine, chatGPT integration. The company is powering their extended suite of AI application integrations of 13 applications via Zoho’s secure cloud and OpenAI. The browser allows users greater control of privacy customization, single tab synchronization and user profile modes between different devices.

Zoho’s CEO and co-founder, Sridhar Vembu, believes that many existing browsers in the market are out to just protect the underlying companies and the advertisement-based business models and the surveillance companies that accompany them. Ulaa on the other hand, provides users the assurance of no tracking, nor sharing of data with any third-party entities. Other features such as ad and data track blockers and user customized privacy settings, prevent any form of unauthorized push notification and pop-up advertisements. It does this by also disabling APIs that allow web based communications with devices that are connected to the user’s current wifi network.

Ramprakash Ramamoorthy, Director of AI Research, mentioned that the integration of openAI’s ChatGPT into Zoho’s in-house AI brings the users intuitive and efficient experiences while being under the organization’s robust secure system. With the help of their AI based development, Zoho is able to draw insights more easily and develop more applications within a controlled environment making great leaps in AI development. In addition, Zoho is currently in the process of building their own Low Latency Model (LLM) in order to develop and support more AI-driven communication.
