Using AI to Enhance Clinical Trial Processes with AlphaPrime

Date:

AlphaPrime is a global health technology company specializing in accelerated clinical trials using cloud computing, AI, and big data. Founded in 2020 by Sharon Chen, the former head of Verily China (Alphabet’s life science arm) and the Engineering Site Lead of Google Shanghai, AlphaPrime offers a suite of products that cover the entire clinical trials cycle with an emphasis on intelligent design and analysis.

Sharon Chen is an experienced IT veteran who earned her bachelor’s degree in automation from Shanghai Jiaotong University. She also has a master’s degree in computer science from Texas A&M University, which she attained alongside her 15 years at Google. Sharon leveraged her vast experience in the industry to launch AlphaPrime, where her team of tech gurus and clinical experts have created an efficient platform.

AlphaPrime’s SaaS platform, AuroraPrime, enables customers to finish clinical trials faster. Prime Create facilitates content writing and helps customers design and review documents quickly. To manage data capture, AlphaPrime developed Prime Collect, a powerful EDC tool that includes RTSM (randomization and Trial Supply Management system). Additionally, customers can opt for a decentralized trial, which allows them to collect data remotely and seamlessly through portable or home devices. To facilitate analysis and report-writing, Prime Compute is a final-stage product that incorporates out-of-the-box templates, models, and algorithms that work together to generate visual reports and dashboards.

AlphaPrime also provides tools to support the development and commercialization of consumer health and cosmetics items, such as the Clinical Trials Management System (CTMS) Coordinate to manage their clinical trial needs. The company has secured multi-million-dollar A+ financing led by Han Kang Capital and B Capital.
