Trump’s Arraignment Not Biden’s Focus: White House Latest Update

Date:

Former United States President Donald Trump’s arraignment on Tuesday is the main topic of discussion and is catching the news but current leader Joe Biden is not having the same “focus”. White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre made it clear that the current President’s focus is on the American people and not the ongoing case of Donald Trump.

Hours worth of news on Trump’s arraignment are being broadcasted in different networks. So, Biden will likely catch some of the news when he has the chance to keep up but it is not his main focus. President Biden will be meeting with his Council of Advisors on Science and Technology to have a conversation on artificial intelligence while the arraignment is going on.

Donald Trump has pleaded not guilty to 34 criminal charges that are linked to his involvement in the hush money payment to adult film star Stormy Daniels during his 2016 campaign. He is also expected to be fingerprinted and have his mugshot taken as part of the arrest process. When he arrived at the Lower Manhattan court, Trump had posted a cryptic post that this was “SURREAL” and that he couldn’t believe that it was happening in the United States.

The FBI has also warned local and state police authorities across the country about the potential charges that might be handed to the former President. Even New York City officials have announced plans to close key streets in the Lower Manhattan in order to provide adequate security for the arraignment.
