The companies plan to build an AI supercomputer utilizing Nvidia’s next-generation GH200 Grace Hopper Superchip. Tata Consultancy Services (TCS), a subsidiary of Tata Group, will leverage the AI infrastructure and capabilities to develop and process generative AI applications. Furthermore, this collaboration will enable TCS to collaborate with its customers, driving innovation through an AI-first approach. The partnership also includes plans for upskilling TCS’s massive workforce of 600,000 employees.

In line with their commitment to India’s AI sector, Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang also met with Prime Minister Narendra Modi to discuss the country’s potential in AI development. Nvidia has been operating in India since 2004 and has established engineering development centres in Gurugram, Hyderabad, Pune, and Bengaluru, employing over 3,800 professionals.
