OpenAI, a world-renowned AI research company, recently announced exciting news that empowers ChatGPT users to control their data. You can now talk to OpenAI’s ChatGPT chatbot without having to save the chat history. As the conversation history won’t be recorded and won’t be used to train the neural network, it will not be visible in the history sidebar.
To access these extra-special privacy controls, you’ll need to navigate to your ChatGPT settings. And if for some reason, OpenAI needs to check for abuse, the conversation will still be saved for 30 days without fail. However, once that period has passed, the chat history will permanently be deleted from their system.
OpenAI is dedicated to pushing the boundaries of artificial intelligence and making science more accessible to the public. The company was founded in 2015 and is led by CEO and CTO, Greg Brockman and world-renowned scientist and entrepreneur, Ilya Sutskever. OpenAI creates chatbots, robotics, and much more to help scientists and business owners enhance the development and deployment of AI in their practice.
