Google, a leading provider of internet services, has rolled out an update to its video calling service Meet. With this update, users are now able to mute video feeds of other participants in their meeting, providing an opportunity to focus on the presenter or hide participants with distracting video feeds. This functionality for all Google Workspace customers, as well as legacy G Suite Basic and Business customers, can simply be activated by selecting 'Audio only' before joining. Additionally, admins are now able to customize the background image for their users to suit their brand guidelines.
