Bitget, a crypto derivative and copy trading provider, has announced a $10 million investment into Fetch.ai, a leader in AI and blockchain technology. Bitget is supporting Fetch.ai by offering marketing consultations, strategic direction and token listings on their Launchpad platform. Bitget is also investing $300 million to fund digital assets and advance web3 ventures. Fetch.ai provides blockchain bridging for different networks and is an off-chain layer for layer-one networks. This alliance will further drive the development of both companies and the blockchain ecosystem.

Former Facebook Security Chief Labels Elon Musk’s ‘Blue Check Marks’ Saga as a Historical Self-Own

Alex Stamos, the former security chief at Facebook, asserted that the blue checkmark saga involving Elon Musk was a "self-own". Musk had removed prior blue check marks from those entitled to verification before the initiation of the paid feature known as Twitter Blue. Several celebrities and news organizations opposed the payment requirement, so Musk had to restore the blue check marks to those who apparently charged for it. Stamos stated on the Moderated Content podcast that this incident destroyed the existing trust system and may make Twitter "completely useless". He additionally disagreed with Musk's assumption that it was "masterclass in marketing". A trust system rethink is vital to secure the authenticity of Twitter.
