Supermicro Enhances AI Development with NVIDIA-Backed Liquid Cooled Deskside Platform

In its continued effort to bring the most powerful technology to information professionals and developers, Supermicro is introducing its latest AI Development Platform, the SYS-751GE-TNRT-NV1.

This innovative system is designed to provide developers and users with a comprehensive HPC and AI resource which boasts power and efficiency like no other. Supporting small teams of users running training, inference, and analytics workloads, this system can accommodate high-performing CPUs and GPUs. With its total self-contained liquid cooling feature, high powered CPUs and GPUs can run at peak performance while keeping noise to a minimum, suitable of office environment. The platform can be desk-mounted or rack-mounted in the data center, making IT management easier.

At the heart of its AI Solution is the exceptional four NVIDIA A100 Tensor Core GPUs, with an accompanying three-year subscription license for NVIDIA AI Enterprise. This platform brings speed and efficiency to the user, allowing for developers and users to deploy pre-loaded software components and become productive quickly.

Accompanying the GPUs are two 4th Gen Intel Xeon Scalable CPUs with a base clock rate of 3.6GHz, along with 512GB of DDR5 memory, and six 1.92TB NVMe storage devices. Each system also includes an NVIDIA ConnectX-6 DX 25GbE network adapter.

Charles Liang, President and CEO of Supermicro, spoke of this novel system, “Supermicro is taking its leading AI server-based technology and creating the most powerful AI and HPC development system in the industry, enabling a wide range of AI development and workloads to be run at a desk side.” The system can currently be bought, and Supermicro is virtually demonstrating it at the NVIDIA GTC, a renowned global AI Conference happening till 23rd march, 2023.
