The Spanish Agency for Data Protection (AEPD) is investigating whether the American company OpenAI, owners of the artificial intelligence-powered ChatGPT service, have violated data protection regulations. Following theAEPD’s request -as a member of the European Data Protection Committee (EDPB), the committee called a Plenary to address the issue. Resulting in the formation of a working group, the ‘task force,’ the AEPD and other data protection representatives will work together to exchange information and carry out necessary actions to ensure compliance with regulations.
