Sony is reportedly on the verge of launching four new mirrorless cameras by the end of 2023, according to a leak from Sony Alpha Rumors. While the most eagerly anticipated of these is the Sony A9 III, which is expected to be the fastest camera ever made, with burst mode, autofocus and sensor readout capabilities outdoing the current leaders in each category. Another rumoured camera, the Sony A6700, is aimed at amateur photographers, with specs including a 26MP APS-C sensor, AI-powered autofocus, seven stops of image stabilisation, 4K/120p slow-motion video and the ability to keep things pocket-sized. The Sony A7C II is also rumoured to be on its way soon. Meanwhile, sources say Sony has a fourth, more mysterious, full-frame camera in store, which could take several forms, including an updated version of the Sony RX1R II, a rival to the Nikon Z8 or a high-resolution version of the rumoured Sony A7C II.Â
