Samsung has unveiled its latest lineup of innovative technology at the Galaxy Unpacked event, including the Galaxy Z Fold6, Z Flip6, and a range of expanded wearables. The company’s President and Head of Mobile eXperience Business, TM Roh, expressed excitement about merging the foldable form factor with AI technology to bring new possibilities to users worldwide.
The refreshed Galaxy Z series boasts a slimmer, lighter design with enhanced durability due to an Armor Aluminum frame and Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2 on both front and rear panels. The new Galaxy Z Fold6 features a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chip, offering a 7.6-inch AMOLED screen with improved resolution and brightness, a 6.3-inch cover display, upgraded cooling system, 12GB of memory, up to 1TB storage, and a triple camera system.
On the other hand, the Z Flip6 comes with 6.7” and 3.4” AMOLED displays, 12GB of memory, up to 512GB storage, a larger 4,000mAh battery, and a new vapor chamber. Both devices promise new AI features optimized for foldable screens, including Google’s Gemini AI integration.
The Galaxy Z Fold6 and Z Flip6 are set to start shipping on July 24, with prices beginning at $1,899 and $1,099, respectively. Samsung has also introduced the Galaxy Buds3 Series, consisting of the Galaxy Buds3 and Galaxy Buds3 Pro, offering features like active noise cancellation and real-time language translation.
Additionally, the new Galaxy Watch7 and Galaxy Watch Ultra smartwatches powered by Google’s Wear OS 5 provide advanced health monitoring features and extended battery life. The Galaxy Ring, a wearable wellness device, offers sleep tracking, menstrual cycle monitoring, activity detection, and customizable features.
The Galaxy Watch7, Galaxy Watch Ultra, Galaxy Buds3, Galaxy Buds3 Pro, and Galaxy Ring will all be available starting July 24, catering to users looking for cutting-edge technology in the mobile and wearable space.
