IBM’s business unit Red Hat has recently announced an expanded AI capability with the new OpenShift AI platform at the Red Hat Summit. OpenShift AI is an evolution of the data science platform Red Hat already offers, with a focus on helping develop AI models in a way that allows them to reach production stages. OpenShift AI provides developers with tools to facilitate the training, serving, and monitoring of AI models. Additionally, the platform is capable of integrating custom runtimes for AI/ML models to ensure the right tools are used for the job. OpenShift AI also includes capabilities such as model performance tests and metrics to ensure accuracy of models once in production.
