After days of chaos, OpenAI has introduced a new feature to its ChatGPT app, making it accessible to free users. The feature allows users to utilize voice prompts on iOS and Android devices to interact with ChatGPT. OpenAI claims that this addition will enable users to benefit from ChatGPT in various aspects of their life, including food decision-making and solving math problems with the help of pictures. Taking a picture of a landmark while on the go or capturing images of pantry ingredients for dinner ideas are just a couple of examples. OpenAI’s president and co-founder, Greg Brockman, revealed the significant update on social media, stating that the new feature totally changes the ChatGPT experience. This release follows a recent management reshuffle at OpenAI, which saw the return of former CEO Sam Altman after a brief period of firing and replacing different executives. Despite the company’s internal changes, OpenAI remains committed to enhancing its AI capabilities and expanding accessibility to its users.
