The pricing for the Enterprise plan is exclusive and requires an application process. However, insights from a Reddit user reveal that a minimum of 150 seats on an annual plan comes at a cost of $60 per person. This pricing structure is double the amount charged by other GPT-powered platforms like Microsoft Copilot and its Google equivalent.

OpenAI’s Chief Operating Officer, Brad Lightcap, explained that the launch of ChatGPT Enterprise began with a waitlist, resulting in the gradual acquisition of customers. Early adopters of the Enterprise plan include renowned companies such as Block, Canva, Carlyle, The Estée Lauder Companies, PwC, and Zapier, as disclosed in the recent ChatGPT Team announcement.

Despite the impressive number of customers for the Enterprise plan, it represents only a fraction of ChatGPT’s potential revenue generation. With over 100 million weekly active users, thousands of Enterprise customers merely scratch the surface of its market potential.

OpenAI aims to diversify its revenue streams by introducing two additional plans. The first is a Plus plan for individuals, priced at $20 per month, while the second is a Team plan tailored to the needs of small and medium-sized businesses (SMBs), costing $30 per month ($300 per year). The Team plan, priced at half the cost of the Enterprise plan, is expected to attract a significant amount of interest, particularly after criticism regarding the high prices and requirements associated with the Enterprise tier flooded the internet.
