A New York City judge has reprimanded two personal injury lawyers for using an AI-powered search engine to fill a legal brief with completely fake cases. Steven Schwartz, from law firm Levidow, Levidow & Oberman, said he used the device to argue that Colombian airline Avianca should not have its lawsuit for compensation dismissed.
