The event, held for three days at the Dubai World Trade Centre, witnessed a significant 50 percent growth in exhibitor numbers compared to the previous year, with over 750 brands participating. More than 20,000 cybersecurity professionals from 130 countries came together to combat digital threats in a market projected to reach $13.4 billion by 2030.
Featuring renowned tech giants like Huawei, Honeywell, du, Microsoft, and Google Cloud Security, along with innovative cybersecurity firms such as Spire Solutions and Kaspersky, GISEC Global 2024 is focused on the theme of ‘AI-driven cyber resilience.’ The event hosts over 350 expert speakers, Chief Information Security Officers (CISOs), and ethical hackers, delivering 300+ hours of immersive content across various conference and workshop stages.
Dr. Mohamed Al-Kuwaiti, Head of the UAE Cybersecurity Council, highlighted the importance of collaboration in fostering a cyber-resilient society amidst evolving cyber threats. The UAE Cybersecurity Council aims to create a safe and trusted cyber environment, with GISEC Global serving as a platform for thought-provoking discussions and collaborations critical to safeguarding digital assets.
Additionally, the event introduced exclusive experiences such as the Global CyberDrill simulation and the inaugural GISEC Cyber Excellence Awards in partnership with the UAE Cybersecurity Council. Promoting open-source projects and solutions, the GISEC Armory provides developers with a platform to showcase their work and connect with industry professionals.
