If certain user data is flagged by these systems, authorized Microsoft staff members may further inspect it. For cases within the European Economic Area (EEA), employees handling such data must also be located within the EEA. In the event of a breach, customers will be promptly notified via email. Moreover, Azure customers dealing with sensitive information within the services have the option to participate in the cross-monitoring of abusive online behavior.
