Microsoft is making changes to several of its applications, adding the power of ChatGPT and Bing to SwiftKey and Skype groups. This integration was first made available in preview last week, with the ability to now be accessed from all markets worldwide by signing in with a Microsoft Account that’s been approved to use the new Bing.
The integration of Bing and ChatGPT with SwiftKey will give the user access to swift search, chat, and tone. The search will allow users to search the web without leaving the platform. Conversation, by contrast, uses Bing Chat to ease the user experience. Lastly, tone is the most interesting integration, allowing users to rewrite messages in different tones using AI.
Microsoft also added an interesting feature to the mobile Bing app; alternative masculine and feminine translation, making it easier to use a respectful language. This translation is available in English, Spanish, French, and Italian.
In Skype, Bing is now supported in group chats. To access the search engine, the user just needs to type “@bing” followed by the question.
Finally, the new Bing is integrated into the Microsoft Start app. The Microsoft Start delivers personalized news, sports scores, the weather, and stock prices – directly powered by the new Bing.
Microsoft is constantly pushing the boundaries of AI and machine learning through their various product offerings. Integrating Bing, ChatGPT, and other AI-driven technologies into their applications allows Microsoft to create a more diverse and personalized platform for their users, ensuring an efficient and effective user experience.
