Microsoft 365 Roadmap: Exciting Updates for Teams Town Hall, OneDrive AI, Outlook Attachments, and More

Microsoft Teams is set to introduce several new features in the coming months, according to updates on the Microsoft 365 Roadmap website. The updates include a separate chat feature for Teams town hall presenters, providing them with a private chat that can be accessed before, during, and after an event. In addition, Microsoft Teams Rooms on Windows will receive a language feature that allows users and administrators to change the default app language. The Teams mobile apps will also see improvements, such as the ability for parents to connect to the School Connection feature via a link provided by their children’s school, and the option for Android users to record their screen and share it on Teams. Furthermore, Teams Rooms administrators will soon be able to add a requirement for Android users to enter a meeting ID and passcode. The updates are expected to roll out in stages, with some features becoming available as early as March.
