I presume because they didn’t want people cutting things together or her saying ‘c**k.’ As a result, the word was changed to bulls*** instead.
Korsch admitted that there were a few instances during filming where the Royal Family weighed in on Meghan’s character’s lines or actions, but he couldn’t recall the specifics. He made it clear, however, that it wasn’t Meghan herself who requested the change. No, Meghan did not call me, he stated. It might have been the directing producer at the time or her agent. Whoever it was, they didn’t like having to tell me any more than I liked having to hear it.
The former director emphasized that he sympathized with the decision but also acknowledged that people can be unpredictable. He concluded, I had some sympathy because I wouldn’t want somebody doing that to her either. And the thing is, I didn’t think anybody really would, but also I don’t know. People are crazy.
