Title: Companies Urged to Invest in Zero Trust AI to Safeguard Machine Learning Integrity and Security
According to a recent study by independent research firm Forrester Consulting, organizations must prioritize investment in Zero Trust Artificial Intelligence (AI) to protect the integrity and security of machine learning (ML) models. The study, titled It’s Time for Zero Trust AI and commissioned by HiddenLayer, an AI Application Security company, revealed that decision-makers responsible for AI security recognize the critical role ML projects will play in their company’s revenue generation, customer experience, and business operations in the next 18 months.
The study uncovered a significant concern among respondents regarding their organization’s ML model security. Alarmingly, the majority of respondents currently rely on manual processes to address ML model threats, with approximately 86% expressing extreme or significant concern. To combat this challenge, a majority of respondents expressed interest in investing in an ML model integrity and security management solution within the next 12 months.
As AI technology becomes increasingly vital for business success, the report emphasizes the necessity for organizations to adopt Zero Trust AI and automated ML solutions. With the mounting complexity of ML models and the growing attractiveness of malicious attacks, traditional enterprise security teams are struggling to keep up with the evolving threat landscape. An AI solution that takes charge of ML model security, proactively stays ahead of bad actors, and facilitates seamless AI adoption is essential.
