Orca Security, the leading provider of Agentless cloud security solutions for the enterprise, has integrated Microsoft Azure OpenAI GPT-4 into its cloud-native application protection platform (CNAPP) program. With this new integration and capabilities, users can instantly generate high-quality remediation instructions without worry of security vulnerabilities.
Avi Shua, Chief Innovation Officer and Co-Founder of Orca Security expressed the need and importance of using high-level security and enterprise support provided by Microsoft Azure. Furthermore, developers and security practitioners benefit greatly from the integration of GPT-4 into Orca Security’s CNAPP platform, with the ability of generating relevant remediation instructions.
Besides the advantages of the integration, security and application teams can take advantage of enhancement of the new integration, including prompt optimisation to produce better accuracy of remediation, inclusion of said instructions in JIRA tickets, support for Open Policy Agent (OPA) remediation, and new cloud provider-specific remediation methods.
Jimmy Mesta, Co-founder and Chief Technology Officer of KSOC, a Kubernetes security company, expressed the need for users’ to address alerts identified by security tools early on—prior to the deployment phase. Orca addresses this problem by providing the ability to detect alerts in production, but fix issues early in the development lifecycle.
Mesta claims that the integration could cause issues such as unintentionally releasing confidential information due to human error when using conversation-appeal bots such as GPT-4. In addition, countries are bringing in regulations of privacy policies in relation to GPT, thus it is important to consider the security and privacy of customer data while using GPT systems.
Orca Security has now taken on Microsoft Azure OpenAI’s GPT-4 and customers can take advantage of its integration into their CNAPP platform, while Microsoft provides guarantees of security and reliability with the integration. To sum up, the integration of GPT-4 in the Orca Security’s CNAPP platform allows users to quickly generate and gain remediation instructions with a Representational State Transfer (REST) API based integration, that then can be edited and incorporated into various platforms.
