Infosys, one of India’s largest software services exporters, has secured a significant $1.5 billion deal with an undisclosed global partner. The contract, which will span 15 years, was announced in a filing with the exchange. Infosys will utilize its proprietary platforms and artificial intelligence (AI) solutions to deliver advanced digital experiences and business operation services as part of the agreement.
Meanwhile, SAP Labs India, a subsidiary of German software corporation SAP, has revealed plans to double its artificial intelligence (AI) talent base in the country by 2024. This move aims to equip SAP’s portfolio with AI capabilities that can cater to the evolving demands of the business landscape.
In another development, Amazon Web Services (AWS) India has received the cloud service provider (CSP) empanelment from the Ministry of Electronic and Information Technology (MeitY). This recognition allows AWS to provide cloud services using the AWS Asia Pacific (Hyderabad) Region, making it the second AWS Asia Pacific region in India to receive this certification.
