Hyperwrite Launches AI Agent Capable of Surfing the Web Like Human Users

Date:

Hyperwrite, a technology startup, has recently made a challenging breakthrough. Specializing in Artificial Intelligence, the company has developed an AI agent that can act like a human on the web. This breakthrough will have a significant impact on how people use the Internet, opening up various possibilities.

The AI agent, accessible through Hyperwrite’s Chrome extension, can easily complete tasks such as placing orders, typing in ZIP codes, and related mundane activities. During a closed demonstration by Hyperwrite’s CEO Matt Shumer, the agent easily navigated to the Domino’s Pizza website and began to place an order. The current AI agent, however, is limited to only the use of single-session, as the model cannot recall information from earlier interactions.

The advancement of AI agents such as AutoGPT and BabyAGI, powered by OpenAI’s GPT-4, can now generate new prompts automatically and take further actions with an original input to create more prompts. But, with these agents, there is an issue when the token count increases. They can also be prone to vulnerabilities, such as phishing, hacking, or scams.

As of now, the AI agent will be limited to few test users, and further measures are being taken to ensure the safety of the individual user and society from malicious activities. Hyperwrite has built their team to maximize the helpful use of these agents and make sure that they aren’t misused or exploited. Above all, they also emphasize the importance of launching the agent responsibility to prevent disruptive behaviors.

Hyperwrite is a tech startup based in San Francisco, California. It was founded in 2020 by Matt Shumer, a strong believer in the advances of technology and AI. Matt has dedicated much of his time in creating AI tools and tools to help developers learn and use AI more efficiently and has founded multiple companies before Hyperwrite.
