Do you want to be sure that the conversations you have on ChatGPT won’t be used to train Artificial Intelligence models? OpenAI now allows you to so, and here is how you can disable your chat history and opt out of training OpenAI models.
To start, open up your browser and log into ChatGPT. Find the three dots on the bottom left corner of your screen and click on it, which will bring up a small menu. After this, click on ‘Settings’. From there you can toggle off the ‘Chat History & Training’ and a short message will appear on the left sidebar saying your chat history is off. Additionally, the search bar should show up to be black. Once you’ve toggled this off, all your conversations are not being used and will be deleted, in order to prevent any abuse according to OpenAI.
