Fujitsu Introduces New Technology for Customized AI Solutions via Fujitsu Kozuchi AI Platform
In a recent announcement, Fujitsu has unveiled a new technology that enables the automated generation of AI solutions. This technology allows users to customize AI innovation components offered through the Fujitsu Kozuchi – Fujitsu AI Platform. Starting in December 2023, Fujitsu will provide this technology to users in Japan, with plans to expand its services to the global market in the future.
The Fujitsu Kozuchi AI platform, which was launched in April 2023, already provides users with access to a wide range of powerful AI and ML technologies. With the introduction of this new technology, users will now be able to further modify and customize AI solutions on the platform using natural language input, without requiring expert knowledge or the support of AI engineers. Applied to optimization problems in production scheduling, this technology can help reduce the man-hours required for AI model creation by up to 95%.
Fujitsu’s goal is to build a system that automatically generates AI technologies for optimization, prediction, and the detection of product anomalies. By providing customers with the optimal combination of innovation components, Fujitsu aims to solve increasingly complex problems through its framework for Composite AI, which combines different AI innovation components.
Furthermore, Fujitsu plans to collaborate with Palantir Technologies Inc. to offer a framework for external platforms. By leveraging Palantir’s Artificial Intelligence Platform (AIP), Fujitsu can assist customers in solving complex business problems. The collaboration between AIP and Fujitsu’s AI Platform and Composite AI framework allows users to find the best models for their data and business issues, automatically build and train those models, and deploy them immediately for their business operations and planning.
Fujitsu’s new technology addresses the need for customers to adjust AI innovation components to suit their specific business demands. In the past, manually adjusting AI components and modifying prototype technologies by AI engineers has led to longer lead times in delivering completed AI solutions to customers. To tackle this challenge, Fujitsu has developed a technology that enables customers to modify AI innovation components on their own using natural language.
This newly developed technology interprets programs and mathematical expressions converted by Large Language Models (LLMs) and generates a graphical set of solutions that meet customers’ requirements. By training AI models with this graph data, the technology facilitates the automatic creation of tailor-made AI models in areas such as prediction, optimization, and anomaly detection. Combining this technology with a LLM allows users to rapidly prototype, modify, and adjust AI solutions through natural language commands, without the need for advanced AI engineering skills.
With these initiatives, Fujitsu aims to contribute to the realization of a sustainable society by providing AI that can adapt and respond to changes in business and society. As a leading global technology company, Fujitsu strives to make the world more sustainable through innovation, resolving challenges faced by humanity. By combining its expertise in Computing, Networks, AI, Data & Security, and Converging Technologies, Fujitsu delivers sustainability transformation to its customers worldwide.
