Discover Samanyou Garg – The Delhi Prodigy Developing Alternative Chatbot ChatSonic

Date:

Meet Samanyou Garg, the Delhi boy who developed ChatGPT alternative ChatSonic, a chatbot that is marketed as ‘ChatGPT with superpowers’. Samanyou is the founder of WriteSonic, the company that launched ChatSonic a week after OpenAI’s chatbot was made available to users in November 2022.

ChatGPT had gained immense popularity for writing essays, composing poetry, and writing code, but couldn’t generate or accept image inputs or provide real-time information to users. ChatSonic was developed to address the core limitations that Samanyou found in ChatGPT. The chatbot has image generation, video generation, audio generation, and more, making it one of the most advanced AI-powered chatbots out there.

Microsoft’s Bing also provides users the option to generate images and provide real-time information, but Samanyou insists ChatSonic had these features even before the release of Bing. According to the founder, the chatbot is more about productivity than competition and shares that it helps users save time when creating content, summarizing emails, and more.

As AI chatbots become more popular, conversations around the implications of AI taking over human jobs has become increasingly relevant. Samanyou believes that it is more about the increase in productivity rather than AI taking away human jobs. He believes that AI can help humans with linguistics and content generation, like creating a draft of an essay in seconds, but Photoshop and complex creative tasks will still stay in the realm of humans.

To make sure the chatbot is accurate and up-to-date, the team behind ChatSonic is working on using web search results to improve the quality of the results. Furthermore, their goal is to make the chatbot a virtual assistant which is why they are focusing on personalization and developing custom ChatGPT-like Chatbots that are trained on the company’s data.

Samanyou’s favourite AI tool that he uses on a daily basis is the email feature of the ChatSonic Chrome extension. This tool helps him write professional emails with just a click, saving a lot of time that Samanyou can dedicate to other tasks.

WriteSonic, founded by Samanyou, is a company that focuses on building some of the best AI-powered chatbots in the industry, providing users the best experience possible. They are continuously conducting research and developing new features for their chatbot, hoping to make the user experience seamless and productive.
