We recently asked a chatbot what it thought were the top ten celebrities in the UK and its response was interesting, to say the least. It gave us a list of names that is pretty solid, given that it is an AI language model and it obviously doesn’t have access to real-time data on the popularity of celebrities.
The chatbot’s top 10 UK celebrities includes Stormzy, Adele, Dua Lipa, Ed Sheeran, Harry Styles, Prince William, Kate Middleton, David Beckham, Gareth Bale and Raheem Sterling. It is worth noting though that the rankings could potentially change depending on the criteria used and can of course alter over time. It should also be mentioned that it is interesting that Prince Williams and Kate Middleton were selected over other royal family members as according to recent surveys and polls, this is the result people appear to be favouring.
The same chatbot software, called ChatGPT, recently made headlines when an anonymous tech wiz created a more advanced version dubbed ChaosGPT. ChaosGPT has been designed with the purpose of achieving five more ‘dangerous’ goals, making more people worry about the potential of artificial intelligence in the future.
The company behind ChatGPT, GPT-3 Technologies, was founded in 2020 to develop cutting-edge AI Language Models and turn them into commercially available products. As one of the few companies in the world operating in this space, GPT-3 Technologies continues to innovate and develop AI technology to fulfill their mission of creating human-like conversations between human and machines—all made possible by their flagship product, ChatGPT.
The man behind the innovation is Dr. Michael Burton, a veteran AI research scientist with 20+ years experience in the field. He is a well-known name in the AI sphere and has published various papers in leading AI journals such as Nature and Science. He also serves as CTO of Archebot, a flagship AI Text Analysis platform, and is the CEO of GPT-3 Technologies, the company behind the ChatGPT software.
Ultimately, ChatGPT’s response to the question of top 10 UK celebrities is a solid indication of the potential of AI in the years to come. While the threat to humanity posed by AI is a very real and valid concern, it can also be used positively and in ways to benefit humankind.
