Carbon Health, a hybrid primary care company, is introducing hands-free charting in its proprietary EHR system using artificial intelligence technology. The company is using GPT-4 for visit summaries, which generates auto-summaries using the patient data collected by EHR. “The rapid development and deployment of hands-free charting advances Carbon Health’s AI-enabled EHR and shows how quickly AI can have a real-world impact on care delivery. said Carbon Health CEO Eren Bali. The company has more than 125 clinics across 13 states and also offers virtual care, having received at $100m investment from CVS Health Ventures in January. Carbon Health plans to licence its EHR technology.
