Cairo ICT’23: Middle East’s Leading Technology Exhibition Opens with Presidential Patronage

Cairo ICT’23, the Middle East’s leading technology exhibition, has officially opened under the prestigious patronage of President Abdel Fattah Al-Sisi. The 27th edition of the International Technology Exhibition and Conference for the Middle East and Africa is organized by Trade Fairs International and boasts the participation of five significant ministries: Education, Health, Higher Education, Justice, and Communications and Information Technology.

This year’s exhibition aims to showcase the remarkable technological accomplishments of various government entities and institutions, including the armed forces, the Arab Organization for Industrialization, and the Egyptian Space Agency. Moreover, it highlights the advancements in technology by featuring projects and investments from foreign and Arab companies entering the Egyptian market. Notable companies like the Emirati firm Khazna and the Kuwaiti company Hayat will be venturing into the satellite sector in Egypt.

The exhibition promises to provide a platform for the latest developments in crucial areas such as digital banking, cybersecurity, artificial intelligence, and cloud computing. Osama Kamal, Chairperson of Trade Fairs International, expressed his excitement about the expanded global participation in this year’s event, particularly from China, which will have three large pavilions at Cairo ICT’23. Kamal sincerely acknowledged the support of President Al-Sisi and the cooperation of the participating ministries and agencies.

It is worth mentioning that the Central Bank of Egypt (CBE) is the sponsor of the tenth session of the PAFIX exhibition and conference on electronic payments and financial inclusion. This vital conference, launched ten years ago in collaboration with e-Finance, continues to focus on promoting advancements in electronic payments and financial inclusivity.
