Bookwire Introduces ChatGPT Beta as Feature of Bookwire Operating System for Publishers

Date:

Bookwire, a technology and distribution company based in Frankfurt, has launched a new software offering named “Bookwire OS – One Solution”. This exciting upgrade offers publishers a beta version of an Artificial Intelligence tool called ChatGPT. The integration of this technology aims to provide cutting-edge tools to enable digital book marketing services. During the beta phase, publishers can experiment with ChatGPT to create automated descriptions and social media posts for platforms such as Instagram, Twitter, and Facebook. Notably, ChatGPT will not have access to content, metadata, or other private information, only publicly available data on the internet.

John Ruhrmann, the Managing Director and Co-Founder of Bookwire, was thrilled to be offering this tool to customers: “Our mission is to always provide the latest and best technologies to help our customers improve their marketing strategies. We want to show our publishers how creative they can be in utilizing ChatGPT.”

Holger Tuletz, Head of Product at Bookwire, added: “The merging of ChatGPT into Bookwire OS is an innovative way to provide our customers with the latest updates and use Artificial Intelligence to increase efficiency and automation. We are very excited to see the possibilities of AI and how it can continue to help our customers grow.”

ChatGPT is an especially attractive tool for publishers with backlist titles. The AI technology allows for customized texts for various everyday publishing scenarios with a single click. It is ultimately up to publishers to decide how they want to use the tool. For example, if publishers opt-in, they grant consent to have their requests sent to ChatGPT. However, the control of content generating lies with the publisher. Bookwire is only responsible for providing the technical interface and assumes no liability for any material created.
