Azent Overseas Education Launches Comprehensive Test Prep Vertical

Azent Overseas Education Ltd., an online-offline EdTech company, is one of India’s leading study abroad platforms. It was founded in 2021 by Priyanka Nishar, an Engineering Graduate from Cornell University and MBA from Harvard Business School. Recently, it has taken a big step towards becoming a comprehensive one-stop study abroad platform by launching its test prep vertical. Amazingly, students that enrolled for the programme have been achieving their desired band score of 7.5 in just 15 days. Also, 10,000 students were able to get their desired band score through the IELTS Bootcamp, which included seven days of intensive training and two mock tests.

She is looking forward to catering to over 50,000 students by the end of 2023 and making sure that they have all the necessary tools to have successful overseas education. To achieve this goal, plans are in place to launch TOEFL, GRE, GMAT preparations. All of this is being done while being mindful of the affordability aspect, with IELTS crash courses start at INR 49.

In the past 7 years alone (from 2017 to 2022), more than 30 lakh students went overseas for higher education. 2021 and 2022 saw the biggest spike in numbers with over 750,000 students traveling abroad for education that year. Priyanka Nishar has had a successful career as an entrepreneur, receiving her Bachelor’s in Computer Science from Cornell University and an MBA from Harvard Business School. She has also worked with the Admissions Committee of New York University Stern School of Business, and has had positions with Accenture US and Hexaware Technologies. Priyanka understands what universities are looking for, and is using this knowledge to help students prepare the best they can for their overseas studies.
