Assassin’s Creed Mirage Update 1.0.5 Introduces Chromatic Aberration Toggle & Fixes
Ubisoft has recently released the patch notes for Assassin’s Creed Mirage’s latest update, version 1.0.5. This highly anticipated update brings both improvements and fixes to the game, along with a new feature that players have been requesting.
The patch, available now for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Windows, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S, comes with a range of enhancements. One major addition is the introduction of a chromatic aberration toggle in the game settings. Chromatic aberration is a visual effect that simulates color distortion along the edges of objects, caused by the dispersion of light through a lens. This toggle allows players to decide whether they prefer to have this effect turned on or off. Some players find the effect realistic and immersive, while others prefer a cleaner and sharper image.
Initially, this feature was not available at the launch of Assassin’s Creed Mirage, but Ubisoft has now addressed the player demand and included it in the 1.0.5 update. Alongside this new feature, the update also includes several fixes. For example, there was an issue with the Fire Demon outfit, where players would not receive the correct number of shards after assassinating an ISU Hunter. This has been resolved, ensuring a seamless gaming experience.
Other fixes implemented in the update include equal chances for Basim to perform various takedown animations during front executions, as well as resolving issues with Store Rewards. Ubisoft has also made numerous visual improvements to the environment, VFX, and weapons. Animation fixes have been made as well, correcting unnatural leg movements for Basim.
In addition to these changes, there are many other fixes included in the 1.0.5 update for Assassin’s Creed Mirage. The update was released on October 5 on various platforms, and a mobile version for the iPhone 15 Pro and 15 Pro Max is expected to launch in early 2024.
