Apple Watch is reportedly set to get a major upgrade with a larger screen and other enhancements when the much-anticipated Series 10 is launched by tech giant Apple. According to a report by Bloomberg, the upcoming smartwatch is expected to feature a bigger display, aligning it more closely with the Apple Watch Ultra, which boasts a 49 mm case.
In addition to the larger screen size, Apple is also said to be working on reducing the thickness of the Series 10 models. The new smartwatch will be powered by a new chip, potentially paving the way for advanced AI features in the future.
The Series 10 release is seen as a significant milestone for the Apple Watch as it approaches its 10-year anniversary. The current latest model, the Series 9, was unveiled in September last year and is equipped with the S9 SiP chip in 41 mm and 45 mm sizes.
Furthermore, Bloomberg’s report suggests that the Apple Watch SE will receive an update, while the Ultra 3 is expected to utilize the same new chip as the Series 10 upon its launch.
Apple’s wearables, home, and accessories segment, which includes the Apple Watch, has already generated nearly $20 billion in revenue in the first half of the company’s fiscal year.
As Apple fans eagerly await the launch of the Series 10, the rumored upgrades and new features are sure to create a buzz in the tech world. Stay tuned for more updates as the release date approaches.
