Al Hussein Technical University (HTU) recently hosted Sam Altman, CEO of OpenAI and creator of ChatGPT, for an enthusiastic side talk at the King Hussein Business Park. The event, organized in collaboration with Xpand Conference, was attended by over 500 young Jordanians eager to learn more about artificial intelligence. Due to high demand, the session was also live-streamed for those unable to attend in person.
During the hour-long talk, Altman shared his expertise and visionary ideas on how AI can transform industries and shape the future. He stressed that AI can serve as an important tool for numerous diverse purposes and discussed the breakthrough potential of ChatGPT, which enables natural and interactive conversations between humans and machines.

He believes that no one knows what the future will demand from new jobs and that human creativity has no limits. For Altman, this is the best time since the internet to start a company or create a product. He added that OpenAI is dedicated to pushing the frontiers of AI technology and making it available to as many people as possible.
