Norwegian software company, Opera, has launched its latest browser, Opera One, which is fully equipped with generative AI technology. The browser has been completely rebuilt from the ground up, incorporating features such as OpenAI’s ChatGPT integration, which provides up-to-date live web results. The browser’s native AI, called Aria, can be accessed from the sidebar, or through a command-line using the Ctrl+/(Win) or the Cmd+/keyboard shortcut. This will open an overlay of Aria, allowing users to instantly interact with the AI for a more user-friendly experience. Tab Islands, a new feature that groups related tabs, has also been introduced to better manage the browser experience. Opera One is a free download and is available on Mac, Windows and Linux operating systems. The browser also features an improved browsing speed, thanks to the new browser architecture and multithreaded compositor built on the open-source Chromium browser base.
