Mari, who goes by @sillyyerba on TikTok, had informed her boss of her plans to quit the job and upon being requested to stay on till 8th June, the TikToker decided to ask the AI ChatGPT to craft a professional response saying that she couldn’t be “sad and poor” for another month.
The AI-generated reply started by expressing appreciation for the opportunity granted and regretfully informing that the time of leaving cannot be extended beyond 6 May. Understandably, the email made reference to individual circumstances which prevent being financially challenged any further. The line that caused hilarity among viewers “As much as I value my time here, I cannot be sad and poor for another month.” was followed by explanation of the need for a smooth transition at the company and a request for any help in that regard.
