Microsoft-owned OpenAI has announced a new feature to their AI chatbot ChatGPT, allowing users to turn-off their chat history. When this option is enabled, no conversation will be saved and no conversations will be conducted for training and improvement of the AI models. This feature is now rolling out to all the users of ChatGPT and the changes can be made under the “Settings” tab. Additionally, OpenAI is currently working on ChatGPT Business, a subscription for professionals or organisations to have better control over their data, where end users’ data won’t be used to train the AI models, except only when needed to monitor abuses.
OpenAI is a research laboratory owned by Microsoft which focuses on researching and creating Artificial Intelligence (AI). The company was founded in December 2015 with donations of $1 billion from billionaires including Elon Musk, Peter Thiel, and Amazon. OpenAI has a dedication to creating a beneficial AI which works to the benefit of humanity and collaborates with other institutions to achieve this goal. The company has released new features for its chatbot ChatGPT, which allow users to delete their chat history with the AI model. With this new feature, OpenAI will be able to stand out from other AI chatbot companies, making it more attractive to its users.
