Railtown AI Partners with Amii for Groundbreaking AI Project

Railtown AI Technologies Inc. has recently announced a partnership with the Alberta Machine Learning Institute (Amii) aimed at accelerating their advanced AI initiatives. This collaboration will see both parties working together on a specific project related to Railtown’s core AI Conductor Technology.

Under the terms of the agreement, Amii will provide Railtown with additional machine learning engineers and PHD’s to co-develop a specific build designed and managed by Railtown. All co-developed intellectual property will be owned by Railtown.

Railtown’s co-founder and AI Lead, Dr. Elliot Holtham, expressed excitement about this partnership, highlighting the significance of collaborating with Amii and the Quebec Artificial Intelligence Institute (Mila) in driving AI-driven innovation. This collaboration will allow Railtown to access Amii’s expertise in reinforcement learning and natural language processing, and Mila’s work in deep learning and generative models, which will contribute to the development of new product features.

Cory Brandolini, Railtown CEO, emphasized the importance of partnering with two of Canada’s most respected AI institutes to accelerate and enhance the development of Railtown’s Conductor AI Technologies. The collaboration with Amii and Mila will leverage Canada’s top AI talent, helping Railtown advance its AI research and machine learning initiatives.

Amii, as one of Canada’s three centers of AI excellence, supports world-leading research in artificial intelligence and machine learning. Railtown AI Technologies, a Microsoft Partner, offers a cloud-based Application General Intelligence™ Platform for Software Developers, designed to improve productivity and drive down costs.
