Writing Wedding Vows with ChatGPT: Weighing the Pros and Cons

Date:

In the modern wedding era, many couples are struggling to find inspiration for writing their vows. To counter these difficulties, many people have been turning to an artificial intelligence platform called ChatGPT to help craft the words they will recite to each other at the altar.

Elyse Nguyen is one of these brides who turned to the platform when preparing for her wedding in February. Initially, she thought the results would turn out corny with general references to her and her soon-to-be husband, but that was not the case. She was able to use most of the generated text once she modified passages to make them more personal and included some humor to the text, which she and her partner ended up both agreeing on.

From bridesmaids speeches to writing thank you cards, many people are experiencing writer’s block when it comes to planning their wedding. One of these individuals, Ellen Le, was able to find help with a new tool called Writer’s Block Assistant, which is powered by the ChatGPT platform. When asked about her experience, she said: “I started a draft of my vows and when I wrote how we met, it produced a very beautiful story. A few parts were inaccurate, making up details, but it gave me a helping hand rather than spending 10 hours thinking about how to start.”

Launched in March, the Writer’s Block Assistant platform has proven to be very successful with many couples who have gone on to use this platform for occasion.

ChatGPT is an innovative artificial intelligence platform that helps people write their wedding vows and other special occasions’ speech and written content. This platform assists with coming up with creative and catchy phrases and metaphors, while allowing the user to make their own modifications to make the text more personal. With the Writer’s Block Assistant and ChatGPT, no one has to worry about having a blank mind on the big day.
